* All members must register with the website!
* Be capable of maintaining a reasonable level of maturity within guild but at times crude humor is best:)
* Get Ventrilo if you anticipate raiding with the guild.
* Be respectful. You don’t have to like everybody, but dislike does not equal the right to be a jackass.
* Help out your fellow guild mates including those who are below your level. When they hit 80 and you need them in your raid group you’ll be glad you did.
* Do NOT ninja anything from anybody whether in guild runs or not , remember "Nobody wants ninjas in there group"
* Remember! Whether in guild chat or general chat you represent your fellow guild mates. What you say and do will have an impact on all other members.
Nemesis is a 21+ laid back casual / raiding guild certain guidelines need to be followed. Please let us know if you plan on being away for more then 2 weeks due to real life situations and who all your guild alts are so that we can recognize them as such otherwise you may find your alt deleted from the guild roster after a long period of inactivity. Although this is not a frequent occurrence, it does occasionally happen. If you find that an alt has been removed from the guild roster, please let one of the Battle Masters know so that we can remedy the situation.
Some members of the guild may be offended by swearing or off-color comments. If someone asks you to watch your language, be respectful and honor those wishes. Eithier take it to a private chatroom or pst ingame.
All members will be allowed to plead their case if they are accused of being a ninja. If someone accuses you of being a ninja or circumstances are such that you think they might; take a screenshot of the occurrence in question. If you are accusing someone of being a ninja do the same. Evidence is essential for the guild leadership to make an educated decision. We want to be fair, but we also want to maintain a good server-wide reputation. (Those caught Photo shopping a screenshot to make themselves appear innocent or to make another appear guilty will be immediately kicked.)
Please remember at all times that you are wearing our Guild Tag and the way you interact with other players while wearing our guild tag reflects on us. We have been around since the opening of the portal and have alot of friends on the Medivh realm both guild wise and raid friendly. If we hear from trusted members of the guild or our raid buddies that you where being a ninja on runs. (You have the option of pleading what happened on the runs.) Again "nobody wants ninjas in there guild" If it gets back to the guild you behaved in such a way that reflects badly on the guild, depending on the outcome of what you tell us, you may find yourself kicked from the guild.
Remember that sarcasm, jokes, comments, etc. that you may intend as a joke will not necessarily always be taken as so. It is difficult to convey these types of comments across a text based chat system, and as such there will occasionally be misunderstandings between players as to what was interpreted. If this occurs, be respectful of the other guild member and let them know that you only intended it as a joke or sarcastic comment that you apologize that it didn't come across as such. That's all that's really needed usually.
Keep guild drama to a minimum, preferably zero. And have a sense of humor, it helps.
A Note on Guild Drama -
I wanted to say a few things about "guild drama" for a second. Firstly, it sucks. No one likes it, it destabilizes the guild by creating doubt and uncertainty in players who may be dealing with their own issues as well. Guild Drama tends to snowball- when someone (or two someones) engage in this sort of thing, chances are others will follow suit. Please refrain from large, public displays if you:
a) have an issue with another player
b) have an issue with a battle master
c) intend to leave the guild in order to sign on with a more progression oriented guild
d) are having a bad day and want everyone else to share in your pain.
We have outlasted MANY of the larger guilds on the server by avoiding massive amounts of drama and by being casual friendly. I do not plan on changing that. I look forward to helping you all achieve your goals in this game, and I thank you all for being a part of MY game experience.
